Educating experts in Physiotherapy

A physiotherapist is an expert in the field of rehabilitation. Physiotherapist expertise is used in health promotion, prevention, and especially in situations where aging, disability, illness or environmental factors limit a person’s ability to move or function and their ability to participate in important aspects of their daily lives.

The aim of physiotherapist education at Turku University of Applied Sciences is to develop expertise in the field in terms of the mobility, functional ability and rehabilitation of children and young people. Your studies with us are particularly focused on the issues of this age group. Emphasis is realized in both theoretical studies but especially in customer work and in our research activities.
