In the degree programme in Filma and Media you can specialize in Film. Studies provide you with the solid basic skills and knowledge needed for work in the field, as well as the ability to think critically about cinema.
During your studies, you will get to know the work tasks in the field extensively and deepen your skills by focusing on screenwriting, filming or sound design. You will also gain the prerequisites for continuous professional development and entrepreneurship.

In the studies that are part of the core competence of the media sector, you will familiarise yourself with the operating environment and legislation of the media sector. You will learn about working life and entrepreneurship. You will learn written, audio and visual expression as well as skills in analysing these. In addition, you will study languages and interaction skills, which are increasingly needed in the media field.
In professional film studies, you will familiarise yourself with different tasks in the field, apply your initiative and creativity in teamwork projects, and develop your skills according to your own prerequisites and interests.
In advanced studies in film, you can focus on screenwriting, visual expression, camera use and lighting, as well as film sound work. In your own student productions, various film commissions and film productions, you deepen your skills as part of a working group.
