Arts and Culture Management
The operating environment of the arts and culture sector is constantly changing. The degree programme provides new competence and certainty for the development of the operations of a cultural organisation. The programme is aimed at arts and culture professionals and experts with qualifications in working life who are interested in supervisory work and leadership. The education is part of the Master School, where you study for a Master’s degree flexibly while working.

The core competence consists of studies common to all and advanced studies in arts and culture management. During your studies, you will delve into the challenges of developing your own field and future operating environments.
In advanced courses, you will learn, among other things, the management of arts and cultural organisations, the development of products and services in the field of art and culture, and human resource management. Complementary competence includes elective studies that students can choose from the Master’s programmes of Turku UAS or other higher education institutions.
This degree programme is conducted only in Finnish.
