The degree programme creates the ability to work independently in extended expert tasks requiring special clinical expertise. The programme increases the ability to renew and develop palliative and terminal care and related services in a humane and evidence-based manner. The scope of the Master’s Degree in Health Care is 90 ECTS credits and the planned duration of the education is 2 years. The degree consists of core competence (40 ECTS), complementary competence (20 ECTS) and a thesis (30 ECTS). During the studies, students focus on, among other things, the challenges of developing palliative care and future operating environments.
This degree programme is conducted only in Finnish.
