ACP, Advanced Nursing Practice: Mental Health

The degree programme creates the ability to work independently in extended expert tasks requiring clinical expertise, to renew and develop mental health and substance abuse work and services in a person-oriented and evidence-based manner in different areas of treatment.

The degree programme is part of the Master School, where you study for a Master’s degree flexibly.

Study contents

The main contents of the degree programme related to mental health and substance abuse work education are:

  • developing as an expert in mental health and substance abuse work,
  • evidence-based mental health promotion,
  • development of a client-oriented treatment process for mental health and substance abuse work,
  • international mental health and substance abuse work,
  • and special issues related to mental health and substance abuse work.

This degree programme is conducted only in Finnish.
