Research and Development Laboratory Labriikki
Labriikki is a chemical engineering research and development laboratory offering a wide range of services in material processing, testing and analytics. Research and development services are tailored to the customer’s needs. Students of biotechnology at Turku University of Applied Sciences are involved in the provision of services under the guidance of experts.

We cooperate with Finnish chemical companies and companies in the bio- and pharmaceutical industry. Companies are constantly in need of new specialised knowledge and technology. At Labriikki, we support this need through research and development and by training experts in the field. We are also involved in the Turku Innovation Centre of Additive Manufacturing (TICAM).

3,000 square metres of laboratory space for research and development
The laboratory facilities include laboratories for chemical analysis, microbiology, biotechnology, and materials engineering. A research brewery is also located in the same building.
Labriikki is also a learning environment
Students of biotechnology at Turku UAS participate in the production of Labriikki’s research and development services, and can work on projects under the guidance of experts.
