The YourSupport project

We promote well-being and career readiness for partially disabled and unemployed individuals

The YourSupport project promotes the well-being and functional capacity of partially disabled, unemployed, and those outside the workforce by enhancing their resources and participation so that they can embark on education and/or career paths. The project involves experimenting, testing, and evaluating nature- and resource-based as well as digital methods in group activities.

The YourSupport project is intended for individuals living in Southwest Finland who are seeking help and encouragement as they strive towards employment and/or education. Participants may be unemployed or may have a disability or condition that limits their ability to work, making returning to work or starting work particularly challenging.

The project organizes small group activities for a total of about 60 participants. Group meetings are held six times for each group, with approximately ten participants in each group. The project provides information and guidance on employment and education, using nature-based and digital methods to help participants discover and support their resources. Solution-focused approaches and participation are central to group activities.
