Sustainable textile systems: Co-creating resource-wise business for Finland in global textile networks

The project focuses on textile materials that replace the current unsustainable materials, and (digital and other) services that enable keeping textile materials in use cycles longer than at present, thus reducing their ecological footprint. In total the SMS project aims at studying the obstacles of and pathways toward future sustainable textile systems, and promote the transitions towards a sustainable textiles system through new interactions between key actors in the value chain.
