The aim of the project is to provide information and guidance on the use of structural liming as a way of agricultural water protection in Finnish conditions. The project will provide a practical guide for farmers and advisors on how to implement structural liming in different clay soil types.
The project will study the effects of structural liming in a wide range of laboratory and field tests as well as in an extensive pilot test in Eurajoki basin, where structural liming will be used on approximately 200 hectares of arable land.
