Simply4Emotions –

Simulation Games for health professionals to develop skills for their emotional self-regulation

Simply4Emotions is a project about developing, piloting and implementing a simulation game, which aims to help health and social care professionals learn about emotional self-regulation. This is a multi-national project, with partners coming from Finland, Ireland, Germany, Greece and Italy.

Health- and socialcare professionals work in demanding environments and situations, such as facing aggressive patients and working in hospice care. These situations hava a high demand for skills in emotional self-regulation. For example, knowing how to correctly manage negative emotions is important when working in difficult patient situations. Many professionals however seem to lack these skills. This is why this project aims to develop a digital and physical game, that allows for simulation of complex situations and working with conflict.

Materials necessary for the game, as well as instructions will be developed in the project, as well as translated for all languagues of the project partners.
