The Shared leadership in project teams-research project seeks answers to the emergence and evolvement of shared leadership of project teams in different phases of the project’s life cycle. Although there has been research on the importance of shared leadership and its consequences, we have scarce research on how shared leadership emerges and develops in teams.
The main goal of this research project is to increase understanding of the emergence and development of shared leadership in project teams, to study shared leadership through theories of network relationships, and to find out the effects of shared leadership on team performance and well-being.
The research project is implemented as a joint project with the Management and Organization Unit of the University of Turku Business School.
