Okulaari – Boosting creative employment in Southwest Finland

Supporting the employment and self-employment of young people in the creative sector

The Okulaari – Boosting employment in the creative sector in Southwest Finland project will create a network of creative operators, which will act as a multidisciplinary professional consortium to promote employment in the sector. The aim is to diversify the range of products and services offered, to increase volume and thus to increase business and employment.

As a result of this development, the creative network is self-sustaining. It has developed a variety of hubs of activity such as a potential cooperative, workshops, companies and a group of freelancers who carry out productions, services and products. The network acts as a springboard to employment for new creative graduates. The network plays an important role as a peer network for creatives, who are often self-employed or micro-entrepreneurs.
