The aim of the Luotsi research and development project is the development of the educational institution’s well-being management and regional well-being co-operation from the perspective of occupational well-being.
Managing well-being and competence development requires the cooperation of the educational institution’s management, staff and students, as well as regional welfare operators.
Well-being and competence have a direct impact on the passing of a vocational qualification, the reduction of drop-outs and commitment to working life. School well-being is a strong cornerstone of the organization – everyone deserves a good leader, but also learns to lead their own activities responsibly.
Through the means of well-being management and cooperation modeling, the atmosphere of the working community and the experiences of competence and success affect the motivation, ability to function and work ability of both students and staff.
Well-being management modeling creates the conditions especially for vocational students and the professionals who work with them to support the development of students’ skills and the transition to working life and coping at work. In addition, it enables professionals to utilize a functional and effective method in practical work, in meetings of different student groups, especially in health promotion entities.
