Duration of the project
Source of funding
Ministry of Education and Culture
Total funding
500 000 €
The model developed in the project aims to facilitate the transition of a student who has completed a university of applied sciences degree in the health sector to master’s studies in nursing science.
Changes in the social and health care sector and the education system are addressed through collaboration in nursing, public health nursing, midwifery, and emergency care education between universities and universities of applied sciences in the health sector.
The aims are to:
- develop curriculum and teaching collaboration,
- promote profiling between higher education institutions, and
- increase joint digital course offerings between higher education institutions.
As a result, a student-centered and competence-based structural model will be created to ensure a controlled transition between higher education institutions and cumulative career paths.
The project examines and compares research-based, development-based, and evidence-based competences in the curricula and teaching content of universities of applied sciences and universities and identifies the content of co-teaching and digital co-learning. Based on this review, an online course will be created and piloted during the project.
