Forward Together – Promoting Students’ Well-Being and the Sense of Community

The objective of the project is to improve the well-being of higher education students and to support the progress of their studies. The Student Union and Turku University of Applied Sciences co-operate in this project and aim to improve the sense of community of the higher education community.

During the project, the purpose is to create new approaches to both peer and teacher tutoring. At the same time, activities that improve the students’ and staff’s sense of community are created. In the project, the attempt is to support especially those students who started their studies during the COVID-19 or have problems progressing with their studies.

Students, the student union and staff participate in the development work and implement the approaches created in the project together.
