Social Rehabilitation and Mental Health in the Digital World

The aim of the project is to increase the social inclusion and functional capacity of young people in the most vulnerable situations by using digitally implemented models of social rehabilitation and group activities.

Project combines individual and group support and uses existing technological opportunities to measure and develop physical, mental and social functioning.

The project consists of three work packages:

  1. Digital group and individual work
  2. Technology to support performance
  3. Communication and embedding of results

As a result we will have models of group activities that increase young people’s participation. Using digital solutions these models will enable young people to maintain and improve their physical, mental and social functioning. Model will use existing technology to measure and support operational capacity.

The project is implemented by Valo-Valmennusyhdistys ry and Turku University of Applied Sciences.
The project is funded by the REACT-EU instrument as part of the European Union’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
