In the beginning of the project, a vision of a circular economy ecosystem is created. The vision includes new skills and businesses, as well as support to the skills and businesses already located in the target area.

The vision will be used to develop an already existing eco-power plant and its surroundings, an area called Lounapuisto, located in Salo. Via the project, the aim is that the area will be profiled Southern Finland’s central, appealing, and innovative circular economy environment.

The aim is also to create a diverse network for operators in circular economy and to pilot new energy and material solutions. In addition, the aim is to increase employment and appeal in the region by creating new jobs for the top sectors of the future.
