The aim of the project is to create an Internet-based learning programme and 5 simulation tasks with the aim to increase nursing students´ knowledge about venous and pressure ulcer care. With population getting older are such knowledge and skills becoming more and more important year by year.
Target group
- nursing students of Tallinn Health Care College and partner universities, Erasmus+ exchange students.
- Target group of follow-up activities: hospital nurses and home caregivers in Estonia and abroad.
Importance of the project
Nursing students need to taught the necessary principles for the treatment of ulcer based on research results and the experience of our own and of foreign partners. Students can develop and implement their knowledge in their future profession in collaboration with the nurses.
