WHEN

31.10.2024 klo 8.00 – 31.12.2024 klo 18.00

WHERE

Three locations

The work consists of three parts: the first part is a video filmed with a local dance group in the Varissuo forest, which can be seen on the Art Wall of the Turku City Theatre.

The second part is a sound walk that combines the soundscape of the space with the sound layers of nature and people – rhythms, stories, imagination and song. This work can be listened to at the Varissuo library’s listening point.

The third part is set in the Varissuo business centre and aims to create unexpected encounters between residents and passers-by.

All parts of the work will be available until the end of 2024.

The project has been implemented with the support of the City of Turku’s Beautification Fund and the Culture Key Project. The project has been developed in close cooperation with the people of Varissuo in the form of workshops and has also collected material from the local residents through questionnaires.
